Submissions for the contest close on May1 so I guess we will be able to view after that.

Get those creative juices flowing folks, you got to be in it to win it.

Regards Ash :)

This is different from what the rules lead us to believe:

"Upon receipt of submissions, your article will be checked for proper content. Then it will be posted in the proper category to Bonsai Vault in the order that it was received."

This implied that articles would be posted as they were received, has this changed?

Nothing has changed, especially not the cut off date of May 1. So if you submitted, say, last week and I came in 5 minutes later then you would be first cab off the rank closely followed by me. This way makes it fair and equitable so that everyone has the same exposure to the judges and the viewing public. No ambiguity here Will, merely a matter of interpretation. I hope you understand my explanation.

Thanks for the explaination. As I mentioned the rules, as wrote, are slightly misleading. May I suggest a slight correction so they read instead as follows:

"Upon receipt of submissions, your article will be checked for proper content. Then it will be posted, after the deadline has passed, in the proper category to Bonsai Vault in the order that it was received."

Thanks,

Will

Oh, cool, then we will see submissions before the deadline, thanks, I thought I was wacky or the rules were, my apologies.

Sorry to hear about the hospital visit, that is never a good thing, I hope all is well and you, as always are in our thoughts and prayers.

Not advice, more like voicing my own short comings.

Article contests and others always pick up near the end.

I intend to participate, but due to a little (not so little actually) bonsai related project of mine hopefully involving a number of well known "masters" I don't have that much spare time nowadays...

Great to hear from you again, Tom!
