I notice the first entry for the contest was posted, I also noticed it was mine and that it named the author. This is contrary to the rules which plainly state that this is a blind contest.

"Judging for the contest will be blind. Blind meaning that entrants names will be withheld until after the contest is judged.

A document will be created containing the names of the entrants as well as a numerical designation for your submission to identify the article. This document will remain hidden from the judges and the public until after the judging is completed. At this time the entrants name will replace the numerical designation and be made available to the public."

Based on the above, I think the chances of this article being unattributed to an author is slim to none and as such can never be truly judged "blind."

I respectfully ask that this submission of mine (In Defense of Mallsai) be withdrawn from the contest.

Will, I apologize for the slip up! I unfortunately hit the publish button before changing names to numbers. Was my mistake and I take the full rap for it including shooting myself in the foot.
