Came across these plans I have had for years and thought I'd share. Fast and precise way to build a smallish green / hoop house. If you desire you can replace PVC to conduit as well for that little extra something.

I would edit these plans with the following comments:

If you use PVC use schedule 40 and do not use 1/4 inch as suggested...use one and a quarter inch PVC for optimum strength and cost efficiency.

Unless your planning to disassemble this structure or use shrink wrap as a skin, glue your parts together.

Run a stringer (rigid pole) down the length of each side of the hoop about half way up and attach with U clamps

Finally use a wooden base board around your structure for securing the skin and anchors.

Id be interested in seeing how you manage shade issues and what type of structures you have up there!

I have built this one and I find it suitable for a smallish structure. I have others much bigger because of my specific needs. However this one will be cheap and in expensive for the "hobbyist". And doesn't look all that bad either. Shade is can be achieved with simple shade cloth. I have built Brent's version and like it very much...everything its cracked up to be. However I use it for my big structures as he does. The plans shown is for a smaller structure and deviates some from Brent's version a bit.

I would recommend these plans to anyone that is space challenged and needs to appease a significant other with regards to design and look.
