The idea of "Find the Line"

Postby Tachigi on Thu Apr 23, 2009 6:01 pm

For all bonsai artists great and small one of the biggest challenges is finding a trunk line with in new material...in essence finding the tree with in the tree.

To help sharpen those skills this forum has been created for BVer's to submit their material and have the community give there opinions and ideas. Any tree submitted should have at least 3 pictures of it attached to the their thread, Front, Left back, and Right Back. Four however would be ideal. The picture should be basically clutter free as to give the viewer a good look at the trunk.

The community is invited to comment on the tree and/or furnish a virtual as to where they see the line of the trunk with in the material.

This is always a great exercise and can be a lot of fun. Hope you all enjoy.
Cheers, Tom
